PrimerMomento.com is a digital journalism platform founded in July 2009 to deliver daily news and opinion from New England, the United States, and Latin America. Led by a seasoned journalist with 30+ years of experience in Venezuela and the U.S., the project aims to modernize Spanish-language media for a younger, college-aged audience.
For this redesign, I reinvented the brand and digital experience to stand out from traditional news outlets: I created a modern, flat logo with a media-focused icon to better appeal to college readers; redesigned the website using flat UI principles uncommon on Spanish newspaper sites to improve usability; and developed a mobile interface with a right-side menu for smoother navigation.
